A scarce all marble and eye-catching French Deco period, striking Mantel Clock.

The well-proportioned marble case with simple clean lines, is made of three tones of marble; white to the back, grey to the sides and a pleasing heavily grained sand coloured marble to the front, (having the addition of two cornered strips of rouge coloured marble garnish, for decoration).

The clocks dark grey metal dial has black painted Arabic numerals, finished with a pair of classic Deco style black hands secured by a pinned collet. The dial is then protected by a bevelled glazed front, mounted in a moulded brass bezel.

The quality 8-day circular French pendulum movement strikes the hours and half-hours on its 'ting' bell and is accessed via a hinged fretwork rear brass door. The clocks pendulum is original, being stamped with the same serial number as that of the movement (‘3529’) and comes with a winding key.
